Went down to North, WV this past Saturday sence the only local herps i have been finding were . N. water, B. Rats and Garters. So i set out to look for Timbers. About a 1.5 hr drive South from Pittsburgh.

Was a nice morning about 60 degrees. after a good 2 hr hike I found a few .

My Daughter who is 22 months seems to really like animals alot. She is quite fasinated with everything that moves. This Spring/Summer she has got to see the occassinal Black rat or garter that has come up in the yard. and has seen me once or twice get the snake out of the bushes or from under boards for her to see. Though I havn’t got to get out much in the field this year. I have found a nice stream about 5 miles from my new place in Southwest PA.
