1 Eastern Box Turtle
TMTC Unided frogs
1 Garter (in a tree)
2 Nerodia
2 N. Ringneck snakes

Started out the day in a new area of an old area I have been hiking.

It seemed like a good spot for something. Hearing a few ATV people coming up the trail I got out of the way and came across my 1st Allegheny County, PA Easten Box Turtle.

Female 5″x4″

After that I made my way back down though a few very muddy trails to see lots of frogs jumping in the water but none were IDed.

To my Regular Creek Spot I saw 2 Nerodia. And after following a Hummingbird moth around I looked in a tree and saw a Garter snake. (which i thought was pertty odd for a garter snake).

Afterwards I drove across town to a spot I have only had luck with 1 Garter and 1 Slimy Salamander. But today I found 2 N. Ringnecks under some Artificial Cover.

No photos sence they both got away so quickly. But will hopefully check back tommorow.
