Went down to North, WV this past Saturday sence the only local herps i have been finding were . N. water, B. Rats and Garters. So i set out to look for Timbers. About a 1.5 hr drive South from Pittsburgh.

Was a nice morning about 60 degrees. after a good 2 hr hike I found a few .
Red Spotted Newts (elf)

Wasnt having much luck so i desided to get back to the car and relocate.

After another 2 hrs. (and a billion questions from passing hikers) I finally found a nice Shelfed ridge with a small den . 2 Timbers amd 1 N. Copperhead (no photos ) . Which was luck seening as it was Mid day and already 86 degress out. Was a good day and nice to run across a few Timbers.
